Arctun is the capital city of the Nokana Empire, located on the northernmost isle of Atheryin, Kalythos. The city has been a center for Nokanian and seafaring culture, as well as a prominent religious destination for followers of Karophism. It is the current seat of Nokana's Conclave and Dagai Council, as well as the home of their emperor.

Politics & Social Policy

Arctun, though boasting mostly a fantastic arts and leisure location, is also an important player in international politics, and holds one of the most notable learning and research academies in the world: Niri. It has been host to two of some of the most successful empires in history, and continually leads in cultural progression across the globe.

Regular attendance to some sort of religious gathering is usually viewed as respectable and even exemplary. General Nokanian social hierarchy does hold Karophists in higher regard than other religions, however, most organized and unorganized worship is accepted in the city, aside from any Kendaeist cultists and some of the few remaining Tyrosi Church members. Priests and other clergymen are typically spread among the more middle-class citizens, but are treated like nobles among the community for their good deeds. Many different religions are spread among the community, usually by small gatherings or private shrines in citizens' homes, as the vast majority religions are Karophism and the Collective.
