The Anamneses

The Anamneses are partially-sentient, extremely large world-trees, found in various locations throughout Kyros. Anamnesis trees are capable of recalling memories from the infinite past and future, with each tree limited to a different fragment of infinite time. Although rarely interacting with mortals, the trees are often protected, prayed to, and revered. Some cultures, such as the Lyrians and Sunchasers, received direct influence from the Anamneses, often resulting in reality-altering effects.
